The Clifton Park Halfmoon Gators program consists of elite 13-18 year old baseball players from the local area interested in competing at the highest levels during the summer and fall seasons.
*** New in 2023: The Gators are now part of the Albany Twilight League and have started their second season in 2024. Gators teams compete with the area’s top travel programs in the Eastern New York Travel Baseball league. When appropriate, teams compete in Elite Travel and Showcase
Tournaments.
The program is led by the area's top high school baseball coaches with tremendous experience coaching elite players.
Players are placed on teams based on prior knowledge of their skill level. The evaluation process
includes player history, previous stats and communications with previous coaches. An annual player showcase is held each August to determine the team placement for the following seasons.
The Gators strive to provide an opportunity for players at various skill levels and will attempt to field as many teams as possible to accommodate all interested players.
For players in middle school, the Spring season will begin in April and run through the end of July. The season for freshman and above begins in early June at the conclusion of the high school season and will run through the end of July.
The Gators utilize the top end facilities at the Clifton Commons and Halfmoon Town Park. All home night games will be held at either the Steel or Wood fields in Clifton Commons.
